Sourdough Starter Day 1

On day 1 in a glass wide mouth jar combine 60-grams whole wheat unbleached flour and 60-grams filtered room temperature water. Cover lightly, I use a coffee filter with a rubberband securing it and observe for 24 hours in a warm (ideally 70-75° F) area.
